Celebrating 10 years!
What do we do ?
We promote awareness of services and conduct cross-sector training for people working with separating families, across both legal and non-legal sectors; including health, schools and early childhood.
We facilitate seminars, webinars, workshops, training days and conferences. In the past we have conducted hypothetical events, regional conferences and collaborated with regional organisations such as the Shoalhaven Domestic Violence Committee, Co-operative Legal Service Delivery Program, Regional Law Societies, NSW Department of Education, University of Wollongong and the Federal Circuit Court etc.
We also produce valuable resources, contextualised for our region in topics of interest identified by our network members. As a regional network, we work specifically to meet the unique needs of our beautiful part of the world. We proudly focus on supporting the needs of providers to Aboriginal families and local stakeholders like the Department of Defence.
Our network has produced a monthly ebulletin since 2007 which includes specific referral information such as waiting list updates and program information relevant to local referrers. We strongly support direct information sharing between providers.
What area does the South Coast FLPN cover ?
Our network takes in the Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and Bega Valley local government areas.
