ARCK is a counselling program for parents and important caregivers who are experiencing ongoing challenges with co-parenting after separation or divorce.

 

ARCK focusses on reducing conflict between parents, reducing the distress within the changed and changing family system, and strengthening safe and supportive communication between parents, as well as between children and parents.

 

ARCK complements Marymead’s Kids and Youth Are Kool post Separation (KAYAKS) which is a program for children and young people whose parents are separated or divorced.

Circle of Security is a relationship based early intervention program designed to enhance the attachment security relationship between parents and children. This program runs for 8 weeks and looks at topics including; Exploring children’s needs, being available to children and infants, security in relationships, exploring struggles and repairing your relationships

FACES is a counselling service for teenagers & young people (between 10 and 21 years) and for their parents, family members and carers.FACES can help families deal with issues including; developing better relationships, enhancing communication skills, working through any individual problems which have an impact on your family, developing new parenting and conflict resolution skills and resolving difficulties.

Post Separation Cooperative Parenting Services

Post Separation Cooperative Parenting (PSCP) is the name of a post separation parenting program under the Family Law Act

 

Is this a counselling service accredited under the family Court Act (10C)? Yes
Description:

 

 

 

 

PSCP helps separated parents who are fighting learn how parental conflict affects children and why children need parents to be supportive of their relationship with the other parent. It helps parents focus on the needs of the children, instead of on the conflict.

Eligibility criteria: Separated parents who are not talking, who can’t communicate without fighting or who are having trouble managing parenting arrangements may go to a Post Separation Cooperative Parenting Service.  We will arrange for parents to attend at separate times so that they don’t have to meet.  The program is aimed at both parents individually and is helpful even if only one parent attends.
